Letters discuss the candidacy of Ruffin Golson Pleasant in a statewide election (May 8, 1907) and Baton Rouge election results (Jan. 1914). Printed items include an advertisement booklet of local businesses (1905), a newspaper article featuring the Bank of Baton Rouge, (June 1, 1910), a report noting the positive aspects of Baton Rouge (March 11, 1929), and a clipping of Eugene Cazedessus's obituary (Feb. 24, 1938). Images include Eugene Cazedessus's house on Church St., Baton Rouge (undated), the old State Capitol, and unidentified persons (1893, 1895, undated).
